Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) Opportunity

Baptist Health Jacksonville is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) to join our inpatient behavioral health team, supporting Emergency Department and consult liaison services.

This is a great opportunity to work in a high-acuity, team-based hospital setting with a schedule that supports work-life balance.

What you can expect:

7 on / 7 off schedule
Inpatient behavioral health role with ED and consult coverage
Collaborative care model with psychiatrists, hospitalists, and interdisciplinary teams
Diverse and clinically complex patient population
Established protocols and strong clinical support
Epic EMR system

Key responsibilities:

Perform psychiatric evaluations for ED and inpatient consults
Assist with consult liaison services across medical and surgical units
Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed
Educate patients and families on diagnoses and medications
Maintain accurate, timely documentation

Qualifications:

APRN or PA-C
Active or eligible Florida license
Behavioral health or inpatient experience preferred
Strong clinical and communication skills

Experience:

Nurse Practitioner Experience

License and Certification:

Certified Nurse Practitioner - AANP
Driver's License - DMV
Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner - State Nursing Boards
