This position will be based at Heber Springs, Arkansas.In this role, you will support the full lifecycle of medium-voltage overhead switching products, including design, testing, product localization, and ongoing product care. You will collaborate cross-functionally across engineering, operations, quality, and manufacturing teams to drive innovation, improve reliability, and optimize product performance. This position blends hands-on engineering with product lifecycle ownership in a team-oriented environment.You’ll make a difference by:Driving product lifecycle management, product care, and continuous improvement initiativesSupporting design, development, and localization of medium-voltage overhead switching productsLeading validation, testing, and qualification activities, including hands-on testingPartnering with operations, manufacturing, quality, and sourcing teamsAdvancing design-to-cost and design-for-manufacturing initiativesImplementing product improvements based on performance and feedbackMaintaining technical documentation, specifications, drawings, and reportsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field3+ years of experience with the following:Medium-voltage products, switchgear, or overhead switching equipmentElectromechanical engineering design and developmentNX and Teamcenter or similar CAD/PLM toolsProduct validation, testing, and manufacturing introductionCross-functional engineering collaborationLegally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorshipPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of UL, IEEE, or utility standardsExperience in product lifecycle management, product care, or localizationFamiliarity with SAP or ERP toolsUnderstanding of IT systems or TCP/IP communicationExperience in a global engineering environment#LI-KC1You’ll Benefit FromSiemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees.
