As a Security Officer Access Services in Decatur, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. DayTimeThur11:00 AM - 04:00 PMFri11:00 AM - 04:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by following site-specific procedures, screening visitors, and supporting access control activities at entry and exit points.
- Monitor doors, gates, and credentialed access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
- Verify identification, issue visitor badges when required, maintain accurate access logs, and communicate entry procedures to guests and staff.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting unusual conditions and assisting with security-related response activities when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- A college degree is required.
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
