This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a caring environment by assisting with meal preparation and ensuring residents receive nutritious, well-presented meals in a warm and friendly setting.Key Responsibilities:Assist with the preparation, portioning, and serving of meals to residents in accordance with dietary guidelines and individual care plansEnsure that all food is stored, handled, and served in compliance with safety and sanitation standardsMaintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and food service equipmentSupport residents during meal times, providing assistance as needed to promote independence and dignityDocument meal service and report any dietary concerns or special needs to the nursing staffFollow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for residents and staffSkills and Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentPrior experience in food service, healthcare, or a similar setting preferredKnowledge of dietary restrictions and nutritional guidelines for seniorsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safetyCompassionate attitude and respect for residents' dignity and privacyWe foster a supportive and inclusive workplace where growth and development are encouraged.
