Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for an evening shift assignment requiring Siemens equipment and MRI experience.

Details

• 324-bed medical center with 24-hour emergency care and Level II trauma care
• MRI unit using Siemens equipment and Epic EMR
• 5x8 hour evening shifts from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM with a 40 hour guarantee
• One weekend per month required (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM)
• No call requirements

Requirements

• Active ARRT certification in MRI
• Current BLS certification through AHA
• Required experience with MRI and Siemens equipment
• Skills checklist current to 1 year pertinent to MRI specialty required
• 2 supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years required
• License required if applicable
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility as local candidates will not be considered

Additional Information

• Prepare scan room and patients for MRI examinations
• Administer IV and oral contrast materials as needed and screen patients for contraindications
• Position patients appropriately and perform scans using correct protocols, coils, and restraints
• Ensure proper image marking, orientation, and order for radiologist review
• Prepare complete records and clinical information for radiologists
• Dress code requires matching scrubs of any color
• No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested
