Licensed Practical Nurse - LTC

LPNWe are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This position requires the ability to manage multiple patient needs effectively and demonstrate strong clinical skills.Key responsibilities include:Providing nursing care to patients according to established guidelines and protocols.Assisting in the administration of medications and treatments as prescribed.Monitoring patient conditions and reporting changes to the nursing team.Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical records (EMR).Providing support in emergency situations, including code response.Fostering a positive and compassionate environment for patients and their families.Qualifications include:Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).Preferred experience with trach care.Familiarity with emergency protocols and code responses.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Effective communication skills and attention to detail.Weekends and holidays are required every third cycle. The position offers both 8-hour and 12-hour shift options, with a guarantee of hours per week based on shift type.Successful candidates will complete an orientation pathway with assigned staff to ensure familiarity with policies, procedures, and expectations.To ensure a smooth clinical transition, candidates must adhere to a 14-day notice period for any cancellations or withdrawals from the position. Failure to comply with this requirement may incur a fee.
