Senior Securities & Derivatives Analyst

Process orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices Facilitate clearance, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions Resolve complex process problems through in-depth evaluation of securities processing procedures and industry standards Calculate net asset value, reconcile cash and holdings, and price securities for hedge funds Offer advanced solutions for assigned securities processing areas Provide guidance and assistance to junior staff Oversee the set-up of new hedge funds and serve as analytical and procedural expert Serve as expert for securities processing deliverables and initiatives Prepare expense budgets, analyze expense calculations, and prepare unaudited financial statements Ascertain fund value and allocate values to each investor Assist with developing new techniques and streamlining hedge fund and securities processing activities Assess risk, drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and escalation, manage, and report control issues Requirements 5-8 years of relevant experience Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in securities processing, including clearance, settlement, and risk assessment, while providing guidance to junior staff and streamlining hedge fund activities. Proficient in financial analysis, including expense budgeting and net asset value calculations.
