- Utilize both radiographic and CT methods to acquire high-quality diagnostic images for healthcare professionals
- Work closely with radiologists and the healthcare team to support precise and effective diagnoses
- Expertly position patients and fine-tune equipment settings to achieve optimal imaging
- Strictly adhere to radiation safety protocols for the protection of patients and healthcare professionals
- Keep thorough records including imaging logs and equipment performance history
- Deliver caring and compassionate support to patients throughout the imaging process
- Foster a safe and efficient imaging space that contributes to a positive workflow
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is advantageous
- Successful completion of an accredited radiology program
- ARRT certification (in CT, Radiography, or both)
- BLS certification is required or the capability to obtain it within 90 days of hiring
- In-depth knowledge of diagnostic imaging, protocols, and safety regulations
- Superb communication abilities with both patients and multidisciplinary teams
- Capability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt to evolving circumstances
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of personal responsibility
- Technologically adept with systems like PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging software
