Public Area Attendant

About the Job

We are seeking a Public Area Attendant to help create a welcoming and pristine environment for guests throughout The Seagate. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of public spaces while providing courteous assistance to guests. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, detail-focused, and committed to delivering an exceptional luxury hospitality experience.

What You Do:

• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of public areas, including the lobby, entrances, hallways, and other guest-facing spaces
• Clean and sanitize floors, furniture, surfaces, and fixtures to ensure a welcoming environment
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and address spills or safety concerns promptly
• Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste
• Arrange and maintain furniture, décor, and guest-facing displays in public spaces
• Monitor and replenish guest supplies such as brochures, magazines, and amenities
• Assist guests with directions, information, and general inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and concerns
• Partner with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience throughout the property
• Maintain a professional appearance and uphold The Seagate's service standards at all times
• Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

• Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 30 pounds
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions when necessary
• Ability to safely use cleaning products and equipment while following established safety procedures
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift
