Join the Pure Stoke Team as a Ski & Snowboard Technician and Retail Sales Associate!

Pure Stoke, located in the heart of Hood River, OR, is looking for a dedicated Ski & Snowboard Technician and Retail Sales Associate to join our team. What You’ll Be DoingAs a Ski & Snowboard Technician and Retail Sales Associate, you’ll wear many hats to ensure our customers have an exceptional experience. Here’s a glimpse of your day-to-day responsibilities:
- Ski & Snowboard Tech Duties : Perform tuning, waxing, and basic repairs to keep our customers’ gear in top shape. Ability to cut skins and fit boots also required.
- Retail Sales : Assist customers in selecting the right gear and clothing for their needs, sharing your expertise and enthusiasm for winter sports.
- Customer Service : Provide friendly, knowledgeable support to ensure every guest leaves with a smile.
- Store Maintenance : Help keep the shop organized, clean, and fully stocked so it’s always ready for the next customer.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Experience : At least 1 year of experience in the field, whether it’s retail or ski/snowboard tech work
- Skills : A strong understanding of ski and snowboard equipment including classic, skate and backcountry gear, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Passion : A love for winter sports and a desire to share that enthusiasm with others.
- Flexibility : The ability to adapt to a variety of tasks and work in a team-oriented environment.
