Description
Duties and responsibilities
- Enter and work in internally confined spaces.
- Manipulate and transport loads up to 25-35 pounds. Approximately 6 times during each 8-hour shift.
- Act as a courier to deliver material to job sites.
- Operate forklift as needed.
- Traverse and negotiate uneven heights between dock and vessel.
- Traverse and negotiate uneven surfaces.
- Ascend and work at heights of up to 40 feet.
- Push a lawnmower and operate a weed eater.
Critical Demands
- Balance and strength to climb 40 ft.
- Repetitive forward bending, rotation of the trunk, and flexing of the hips and the knees.
- Lifting no greater than 50 lbs. from floor to 6 ft. work surface unassisted.
- Repetitive upper extremity movements while cleaning.
Working Conditions
- Work is outdoors or marine vessels. There is no air conditioning or heating.
- Uneven surfaces throughout job site, with sand, limestone, concrete, and railways outside, as well as concrete and railways inside. Numerous trip hazards throughout.
