Job Summary: As a key member of our facilities management team, the Maintenance Director will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of our hospital's equipment, facilities, and grounds. This is a full-time position that requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities: Supervise and manage a team of maintenance technicians, janitorial staff, and other support personnel to ensure effective and efficient maintenance operations. Oversee and coordinate maintenance activities, including routine inspections, repairs, and replacements of equipment, fixtures, and infrastructure. Develop and implement maintenance schedules, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital standards. Collaborate with department managers to address maintenance needs and ensure that facilities are safe, clean, and functional. Monitor and control budgets for maintenance supplies, equipment, and labor to ensure efficient use of resources. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment downtime to support quality and safety initiatives. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance management or a related field, preferably in a healthcare setting. Strong leadership and communication skills , with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills , with the ability to identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly. Knowledge of relevant regulations , codes, and standards, including OSHA, HIPAA, and JCAHO.
