Senior Tax Accountant

Tax Accountant | Asset Management | Chicago Hybrid A well-established investment management firm is seeking a Tax Accountant to join its Corporate Accounting & Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional with approximately 3-4 years of experience looking to deepen their exposure to corporate tax, fund tax, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives within the asset management industry. Responsibilities Review corporate and fund tax filings, including Forms 1120 and 1120‑RIC and supporting workpapers Support state and local tax compliance, estimated payments, extensions, and notices Assist with RIC qualification testing, tax provisions, ASC 740 documentation, and financial statement disclosures Support mutual fund and ETF distributions and shareholder tax reporting Coordinate with fund administrators, auditors, and external tax service providers Assist with tax notices, audits, and regulatory inquiries Participate in automation and process improvement project Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field CPA or CPA-eligible is a big plus Approximately 3-4 years of tax accounting experience , ideally within asset management, financial services, public accounting, or investment funds Experience with corporate tax compliance, tax provisions, and financial reporting #J-18808-Ljbffr
