Cyber Security Analyst

Job TitleMust Have Technical/Functional Skills8–12 years of experience in Cyber Security, with significant exposure to SOC operations at L3 / Senior Analyst levelStrong hands on experience in 24x7 SOC environments, supporting shift based operationsAdvanced expertise in security incident investigation and response, including:High and critical severity incidentsCross domain investigations (endpoint, network, cloud, application)Strong hands on experience with SIEM platforms, preferably:Splunk Enterprise Security, including alert analysis, correlation, and incident workflowsHands on experience with EDR platforms, preferably:CrowdStrike Falcon, including advanced investigation and response actionsStrong knowledge of security log analysis and event correlation across:EndpointsServersNetwork devicesSecurity toolsSolid understanding of MITRE Telecommunication&CK framework and adversary tactics, techniques, and proceduresExperience supporting Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) activitiesExposure to cloud security investigations (AWS / Azure / GCP logs and alerts)Strong understanding of incident handling, escalation procedures, and evidence handling best practicesTechnical CompetenciesAbility to independently handle L3 level escalations in a 24x7 SOC environmentStrong capability to:Validate escalations from SOC L1 and L2 teamsPerform root cause analysis and impact assessmentSupport containment and remediation actionsExpertise in SIEM and EDR driven investigationsAbility to identify true positives vs false positives and reduce noiseExperience supporting threat hunting and proactive detection activitiesStrong understanding of endpoint, network, cloud, and application security threatsBehavioral CompetenciesStrong ownership and accountability expected from a Senior SOC / L3 roleAbility to work effectively in shift based, high pressure 24x7 SOC operationsExcellent communication skills to:Guide SOC L1 / L2 analysts during incidentsProvide clear updates to customers and management stakeholdersStrong documentation and incident reporting disciplineAbility to mentor and technically guide junior SOC analystsDiverse Lynx LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
