Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to perform medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. Key responsibilities include conducting in-person disability assessments, reviewing electronic medical records, and accurately documenting exam findings to complete VA forms. This role involves providing medical opinions based on assessment data; it does not involve treatment or prescribing medications. The position is part-time , with a caseload of 3-5 Veterans per day. Equipment such as a computer and documentation tools are provided. Qualifications and skills active, unrestricted NP or PA license, with at least 2,080 supervised hours, proficiency in electronic documentation, strong analytical skills, and a compassionate demeanor when interacting with Veterans.
