Technical Writer / Security Risk Analyst

IDR is seeking a Technical Writer / Security Risk Analyst to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves developing technical documentation and operational guides, supporting threat modeling and risk mitigation efforts, and managing project documentation within a security and engineering context. The position offers a chance to work with a leading organization in the technology and security sector.

Position Overview for the Technical Writer / Security Risk Analyst:

• Develop comprehensive technical documentation and operational guides to support security and engineering teams.
• Assist in threat modeling, risk identification, and mitigation efforts to enhance security posture.
• Manage project documentation, track issues, and coordinate engineering meetings related to CORE (Critical Operations, Risk, and Engineering) challenges.
• Support compliance and security documentation initiatives as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure clarity and accuracy of technical content.

Requirements for the Technical Writer / Security Risk Analyst:

• Proven experience in technical writing and security documentation.
• Strong knowledge of threat modeling, risk management, and mitigation strategies.
• Excellent communication skills for managing and presenting technical information.
• Ability to support compliance initiatives within security frameworks.
• Onsite availability in New York City 5 days a week (or flexible to the client's specifications).
