Phlebotomist-Tavares
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for a patient service center in Tavares, Florida. The role involves collecting blood specimens, entering patient data, processing billing, and providing customer service. Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm with rotating Saturday shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
- Process billing and collect payments from patients
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and analysis
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- Three months minimum phlebotomy experience or current certification
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional customer service abilities
