Lead Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities Oversee the preparation of deliverables and documents, including narratives, calculations, drawings, and specifications. Apply electrical distribution, lighting, and power system design principles. Effectively communicate design options to a diverse stakeholder group. Provide engineering direction and guidance for the project team. Independently evaluate and apply engineering judgment, techniques, and procedures to complete a project from concepts through construction. Oversee electrical load calculations. Complete the project within the agreed budget and schedule. Coordinate with other disciplines and facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration. Update master specifications and contribute to standard development. Apply knowledge of building codes and electrical industry standards. Perform engineering calculations and equipment selection. Provide estimates of probable construction costs. Conduct site visits and issue reports. Perform distribution Load Flow, Short Circuit, and Arc Flash Energy analysis using Easy Power. Implement the project quality management plan (QMP). Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline. Relevant professional credential (e.g., PE) preferred. Minimum 2–4 years of experience as an electrical engineer or 3–5 years of related work experience. Advanced understanding of electrical engineering concepts. Comprehensive knowledge of project phases and associated deliverables. Ability to assemble and manage a team. Strong delegation skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge and application of the NEC and relevant building and energy codes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Revit or AutoCAD. Experience with Easy Power. Benefits Hiring base salary range: $93,700–$119,500 per year. Eligible for time-and-a-half overtime pay.
