Requirements

• Must be comfortable caring for infants and young children.

Proposed Schedule: MondayFriday, 9:00 AM 4:00 PM. Some flexibility needed for occasional evenings, travel support, or date night coverage. This is a role with real opportunity to grow alongside the family over time.

We move fast, plan often, and keep things full between frequent travel, a growing household, and an infant and school-age child, our days are dynamic and rarely the same. We've had support in place before, including help with our infant, and this role will pick up right where that support leaves off. While household management is important, we're looking for someone who is equally comfortable stepping into a childcare role throughout the day as neededwhether that means caring for our infant while a parent takes a meeting, helping with school pickups, or simply being an extra set of capable hands during busy moments. We truly value flexibility and see this role as one where household management and family support naturally go hand in hand.

What we're really looking for is a true partner someone who takes ownership, keeps things moving, and doesn't need a lot of hand-holding. Someone who notices what needs attention before we're even aware of it and helps create a home that feels effortless, allowing us to spend more of our time enjoying our family and less time managing the endless to-do list.

You are highly organized, proactive, and calm under pressure, bringing a project manager's mindset to household work thinking several steps ahead and executing without needing reassurance at every turn. You genuinely enjoy creating order, building efficient systems, and anticipating needs before they arise.

You are warm and personable, but also professional and discreet. You're naturally engaging with children and equally comfortable organizing a pantry, coordinating vendors, planning household logistics, or stepping into a childcare role as priorities shift throughout the day. You read the room instinctively, knowing when to be present and engaged and when to work quietly in the background, and you take full ownership of your responsibilities from start to finish, communicating clearly without over-communicating. You understand that no two days are exactly alike and genuinely enjoy the variety that comes with supporting a busy family.

Key Responsibilities

Household Organization & Maintenance

• Create and maintain household organization systems as the family transitions into their new, larger home
• Daily resets and light tidying to keep the home clean and prepped between cleaner visits (dishes, surfaces, high-traffic areas)
• Seasonal decor swaps
• Coordinate donation drop-offs as needed
• Event, holiday, and guest preparation
• Packing and unpacking support for travel
• Coordinate maintenance tasks including battery changes, light bulb replacements, and smoke detector upkeep

Family Support & Child Assistance

• Flex into a childcare role throughout the day as needed, including caring for the infant
• Occasional school pickups and drop-offs for the school-age child
• Prep backpacks, clothing, and snacks for school and activities
• Kid-related errands as needed
• Occasional date night coverage

Inventory & Errands

• Manage household orders and subscriptions (Amazon, Costco, Target)
• Manage running household supply lists and restock pantry, fridge, and household supplies
• Handle mail and package intake, including breaking down boxes
• Manage returns, dry cleaning drop-offs, and gift shopping as needed

Meal Support

• Grocery shopping based on weekly needs
• Light food prep: washing and prepping produce, chopping, marinating
• Source prepared foods from local markets as needed
• Baby bottle prep and formula machine upkeep; baby food preparation
• Kitchen clean-up and general kitchen maintenance

Laundry & Linens

• Wash, fold, and organize household laundry
• Maintain tidy and well-stocked laundry areas

Vendor & Property Oversight

• Oversee and coordinate with cleaners, contractors, and landscapers
• Research vendors, coordinate repairs, and obtain quotes as needed
• Seasonal property maintenance coordination
• Manage outdoor spaces including pool area and pool house organization
• Support the transition and setup of a new home

Deep Cleaning & Special Projects

• Occasional deep cleans (refrigerator, etc.) as needed
• Coordinate cleaning of humidifiers and air purifiers
• Organizational projects including toys, gear, pantry, and closets

Vehicle Upkeep

• Schedule maintenance for family vehicles
• Manage fueling, cleaning, and organizing
• Track registration and insurance renewals

Administrative & Personal Assistant Support

• Travel planning and logistics support
• General awareness of the family calendar, ensuring tasks and household needs align with the family's schedule
• Event and appointment coordination as needed
