About the Job

Voodoo Brewing Co. – Erie is looking for a reliable, hardworking Line Cook to join our kitchen team. Kitchen experience is helpful, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person if they show up, work hard, take pride in what they do, and want to be part of a team.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get started in the restaurant industry, build real kitchen skills, and grow with a local business.

What You’ll Do

Prepare food according to our recipes, portions, and quality standards

Work the line during service and help keep orders moving

Follow food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation procedures

Stock, prep, and organize ingredients before and during shifts

Keep your station clean, safe, and ready to go

Wash dishes, clean equipment, and help with kitchen closing duties when needed

Communicate with the team during busy shifts

Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional kitchen

Be willing to learn and improve every shift

What We’re Looking For

No kitchen experience is required. We are looking for someone who is:

Reliable and shows up on time

Willing to learn

Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Comfortable standing for long periods of time

Able to lift up to 50 lbs when needed

A team player with a good attitude

Able to follow directions and ask questions when needed

Proud of doing the job the right way

Available for nights and weekends

Food Safety Requirement

Applicants should already have, or be willing to obtain, a Food Handler safety certification within 30 days of employment.

Pay & Growth

Starting pay is around $14/hour, with a 90-day evaluation for a possible raise based on reliability, attitude, performance, and progress.

After that, employees are eligible for annual raise reviews based on performance and business needs.
