Senior Solution Architect (Corpus Christi)

Responsibilities

• Define and drive architecture strategy for enterprise payment platforms, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, cost‑effective, and aligned with long‑term business objectives.
• Influence technology direction and platform modernization by championing cloud‑native architectures, APIs, and microservices.
• Lead cross‑functional solution design decisions that reduce complexity, strengthen operational efficiency, and enable teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes.
• Identify and resolve architectural risks and gaps to improve system reliability, availability and compliance while supporting business continuity and client trust.
• Mentor and guide engineering teams by establishing architectural best practices that elevate technical capabilities, accelerate innovation, and drive measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and delivering complex enterprise application architectures with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and business alignment.
• Deep expertise in microservices architecture, APIs, application security, and modern software development practices using Java, Kotlin, or C#.
• Demonstrated success leading technical teams and influencing stakeholders across business and technology functions to achieve strategic outcomes.
• Strong understanding of highly available distributed systems, databases, concurrency, and cloud‑based architecture principles.
• Ability to evaluate complex challenges, make informed architectural decisions, and communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Bonus: Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Experience designing and deploying solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies in large‑scale production environments.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, Kotlin, or C#.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.
