Senior Platform Engineer - Infrastructure

Salary: $165,000 - 255,000 per year Requirements:

• We want engineers with 5+ years of software engineering or DevOps experience, ideally including work on CI/CD pipelines, security, performance, and infrastructure.
• We look for people who bring hustle, grit, and a high standard of craftsmanship.
• We expect strong ownership and the ability to carry projects through to completion with limited supervision.
• We value proactive communication, including surfacing blockers, asking thoughtful questions, and keeping stakeholders informed.
• We prefer people who are comfortable experimenting, evaluating results, and iterating quickly on novel problems.
• We need solid fundamentals in system design, debugging, and problem-solving.
• We use Python as our main stack, though we also consider candidates with strong object-oriented programming backgrounds.
• We value experience with serverless technologies such as Lambda and EC2, asynchronous workflows, and cloud environments.
• We look for familiarity with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL.
• We expect knowledge of Terraform, infrastructure-as-code best practices, and Docker or similar tooling.
• Bonus points for experience with LLMs or generative AI, as well as distributed systems.

• We build and maintain the infrastructure and tooling that support our core platform.
• We manage and improve CI/CD pipelines and automate operational workflows.
• We help keep our systems secure and compliant with industry standards.
• We work to improve infrastructure performance and reliability.
• We monitor and optimize system costs.
• We partner with engineering teams to standardize environments and deployment practices.
• We support observability, incident response, and operational readiness.
• We ensure our cloud-based systems remain scalable as we grow.
• We collaborate with a global team of full-stack, data, ML, and DevOps engineers to deliver scalable backend solutions.
