Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Nursing

Schedule: Nights (7p-7a)

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
- Preferred: TNCC and ENPC certifications within timeframe after hire
- Prior experience in Emergency Nursing, Critical Care, or high-acuity settings

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients presenting with emergent, urgent, or non-urgent conditions.
- Triage patients to determine acuity levels and initiate appropriate care.
- Provide rapid intervention and stabilization for patients experiencing medical, surgical, traumatic, psychiatric, and pediatric emergencies.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with hospital policy and provider orders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including diagnostic testing and disposition planning.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses promptly in the electronic medical record.
