Visiting Occupational Therapist (OT), Per Visit, Home Health - Southern Maryland

Adventist HealthCare Home Health is hiring an Occupational Therapist (OT) in the Southern Maryland Territory serving Prince George County. Responsibilities Communicates with team members, customers, managers, etc. to coordinate plan of care and provide optimal patient experience. Administers occupational therapy interventions and treatments according to agency’s accepted policies and procedures. Applies and implements appropriate therapy knowledge and plans patient care with appropriate patient goals. Completes documentation requirements in a proficient and timely manner. Assumes responsibility for personal and professional development. Administers and supervises occupational therapy treatments to patients with a wide range of health problems under the direct orders of a physician/podiatrist. Coordinates care of patients with other skilled care providers to plan, implement and access treatment programs. Qualifications Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. 2–3 years of experience required. 1 year of home care experience preferred. Maryland Occupational Therapy Licensure required. Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Work Schedule Employment Type: Per Visit Hours per Week: 4 hours per week Typical Daily Schedule: 2 full days per month Shift Type: Days Weekend Requirements: 1 weekend per month Holiday Requirements: As needed Pay Range $34.58 – $51.87 per visit.
