Maintenance Supervisor - Student Housing

We're currently seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations across several student housing properties in Denton, TX. This role is ideal for a true working leader with strong mechanical depth who enjoys being in the field alongside the team. Responsibilities Lead day-to-day maintenance operations across a multi-site student housing portfolio Work in the field alongside technicians, inspecting work quality and troubleshooting HVAC, boiler, and chiller issues hands-on Hire, train, and develop a maintenance team (including technicians and porters) with a focus on retention and performance Coordinate priorities, staffing, and readiness for turns while maintaining strong communication with onsite leadership Oversee pool readiness and ongoing compliance once the pool is brought back online Qualifications Maintenance leadership experience supporting 500+ units or 800+ beds (multi-site or large single-site) Strong hands-on experience with boiler and chiller systems in older buildings HVAC certification required CPO (Certified Pool Operator) required EPA Universal preferred Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; bilingual Spanish is a plus Perks Total compensation range of $75,000 to $88,000 (base salary plus bonus potential), with top-end base around $80,000 and 10% annual bonus potential Opportunity to build and lead a maintenance team across multiple nearby communities (not a single-building tech role) Light current work-order volume, giving you time to implement standards and training before occupancy increases Full benefits package including all major insurance, 401k, and PTO Work for a nationwide company that can offer growth and stability
