As an A&P Mechanic , you will play a vital role in maintaining aircraft to the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance. Key Responsibilities Review and evaluate daily maintenance and inspection requirements to ensure aircraft airworthiness. Notify the Lead Mechanic of unusual circumstances requiring schedule changes, aircraft adjustments, or additional manpower or technical assistance. Oversee maintenance at assigned field bases, monitor stock levels, and requisition parts as needed. Ensure the safety and security of company assets at all assigned locations. Prepare reports, requisitions, inventories, and certify aircraft logs and inspection forms in compliance with FAA, manufacturer, and company requirements. Complete maintenance records and system entries accurately. Communicate effectively with the Lead Mechanic, AMBS, and other stakeholders to ensure timely job completion. Manage parts inventory and recommend stock level adjustments as necessary. Maintain company‑provided special tools and ensure all are properly calibrated. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant ratings. Minimum of 2 years of certified aircraft maintenance experience. Strong communication and computer skills. Must pass a pre‑employment physical exam (including strength and flexibility assessment), drug screening, and background check. For members of the roving maintenance team: sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting/repair experience required. Must be able to travel frequently, sometimes on short notice, and work night shifts as needed. Compensation and Benefits Competitive pay and benefits package. Shift bonuses, incentives, and annual safety and performance bonuses. Sign‑on bonus of up to $35,000 for eligible new hires. Schedule and Location 7 & 7 rotational schedule. Candidates must live within a one‑hour drive or 60 miles (whichever is greater) from the assigned base. Travel between bases may be required.
