Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect Consultant to support our BI & Analytics Delivery organization. This role will be responsible for defining enterprise data architecture, designing scalable integration solutions, guiding platform strategy, and establishing technical governance across the data ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Snowflake, modern data platforms, ETL/ELT architecture, cloud data technologies, and stakeholder leadership. This individual will collaborate closely with Data Engineering, Analytics, Enterprise Architecture, Security, and Business teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end data and analytics solution architectures aligned with business objectives.
• Design and implement scalable integration patterns across enterprise applications, APIs, SaaS platforms, and data ecosystems.
• Lead architecture reviews, design workshops, and technical discussions across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Develop architecture blueprints, solution designs, technical specifications, and governance documentation.
• Evaluate and recommend enhancements across Snowflake, Matillion, Power BI, Collibra, and related technologies.
• Establish best practices for data modelling, data warehousing, security, governance, and performance optimization.
• Partner with Data Engineering, Reporting, Platform, Security, and Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
• Support advanced analytics, AI, and GenAI initiatives, including Snowflake Cortex and emerging data platform capabilities.
• Drive architectural standards, technical governance, and solution quality across enterprise data programs.

Required Qualifications

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, Analytics Architecture, or related disciplines.
• Proven track record designing and delivering enterprise-scale data platforms and analytics solutions.

Technical Skills

• Deep expertise in:
• Snowflake Data Platform
• Data Warehousing Architecture
• Data Modeling (Dimensional and Enterprise Data Models)
• ETL/ELT Architecture and Design
• Cloud Data Platforms
• API and SaaS Integrations
• Data Governance and Security Frameworks

Strong hands-on experience with:

• Snowflake
• Matillion (preferred) or similar ETL/ELT tools
• Power BI
• Collibra or equivalent Data Governance platforms

Leadership & Communication

• Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
• Ability to facilitate architecture workshops and drive technical decision-making.
• Experience collaborating across business, engineering, security, and enterprise architecture teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and consensus-building capabilities.
