Registered Nurse – ICU

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts per Week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit setting
• Manage patients requiring mechanical ventilation and ventilator management
• Administer and monitor continuous IV drip medications
• Provide care for patients requiring Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) support
• Deliver post-cardiac catheterization patient care and monitoring
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Alabama State RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 1–2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Experience with ventilator management, drip management, IABP, and post cardiac cath care
• References required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Familiarity with Meditech Expanse EMR system
