Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Succasunna, NJ Work Schedule: This is a casual/per diem position, hours will be as needed. Start and end times will vary on from Monday- Friday 7:00am- 3:30pm and weekends. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collect payments as necessary Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Strong communication skills; both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation Flexibility to work overtime as needed Able to pass a standardized color blindness test Pay Range Pay Range: $17.75-24 per hour Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan 401(k) Plan (for employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees only) All foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO (for employees regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule) Equal Opportunity Employer Labcorp is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer: Labcorp strives for inclusion and belonging in the workforce and does not tolerate harassment or discrimination of any kind.
