Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI Lab position at an acute care hospital in Santa Rosa, CA, requiring Epic proficiency and conscious sedation experience.

Details

• Work in the GI Lab of a 277-bed acute care hospital
• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM; no weekends required
• On-call responsibilities are required for this position
• Floating between like units and across facilities within the state is required
• Charting is performed in Epic (experience required)
• Scrubs are provided for this unit

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required; pending licenses are not accepted
• Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 1 year of GI/Endoscopy RN experience required
• Experience administering and monitoring conscious sedation is required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting are required for consideration

• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; post-offer RTO requests may be denied
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of this facility
• Block schedule requests are considered at the manager's discretion
• Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in assignment termination
