Job Summary
A Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) registered nurse (RN) is needed for a seasonal travel assignment in Denver, Colorado. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment in a unit with 15 beds and a staff of 35. The RN will provide post-operative recovery care, including Phase I and Phase II discharge procedures, and must demonstrate upbeat personality traits suitable for a dynamic clinical setting. The assignment offers the opportunity to work with advanced equipment and experienced staff members.

Job Details

• Location: Denver, CO
• Schedule: Days shift; 12-hour shifts; minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, current hospital PACU experience of at least 1 year, BLS & ACLS certifications, and any relevant certifications or educational requirements.
• Preferred Qualifications: Preoperative experience, experience with GE monitors, and familiarity with Meditech electronic health records.
• Additional Information: Periodic on-call duties from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday as part of the first call team. Occasional coverage from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. on weeknights or weekends may be required.
