An opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support a busy retail and long-term care pharmacy setting in Sioux City, IA. This per diem role is designed for professionals who are licensed and experienced in pharmacy operations, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service and ensuring accurate medication distribution.

Location:

• Sioux City, IA

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (8.5 hours per day)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately distribute prescription medications as authorized by physicians and other healthcare providers
• Provide clear, helpful information to customers regarding their medications and proper usage
• Maintain a high standard of customer service to support patient care and satisfaction
• Assist pharmacy staff with daily operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with pharmacy regulations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Iowa Pharmacy Technician License (IA License) required
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
• Background in retail and long-term care pharmacy settings is ideal
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
