Long Lots Elementary School is searching for a Speech and Language Pathologist to join a talented team of educators meeting the needs of all students. The qualified candidate will work alongside a dedicated team of special education and related service staff as well as the entire school community in meeting the needs of all students. Qualifications include Speech and Language Pathologist Certification (061); knowledge of assessment tools for comprehensive speech-language evaluations; and knowledge of instructional and assistive technology related to the needs of students with speech-language disabilities. Responsibilities include administering, scoring, and interpreting speech/language assessments for students; developing and implementing individual educational plans to meet student needs, interests, and abilities; reviewing student's yearly progress and writing progress reports and annual reports; attending meetings and conferences and participating in staff development activities to promote student professional growth; ability to use and interpret data to monitor student progress; and maintaining records as required by law. Salary is according to the Teachers' contract (2025-2028). Starting date is August 20, 2026. Application deadline is open until filled.
