Position Overview Seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a multi-specialty practice in Brooklyn, NY. Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care in a collaborative outpatient setting. Qualifications Education - Master’s degree in Nursing (NP program). License - Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license. Certification - Board Certified. Experience - Minimum 1 year in cardiology required. Technical Skills - EKG, echo, stress test interpretation, medication management. Soft Skills - Strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Conduct cardiovascular assessments, histories, and physical exams. Diagnose and manage conditions such as hypertension, heart failure, and arrhythmias. Order and interpret diagnostic tests (EKG, echo, stress tests, Holter monitors). Develop and manage treatment plans, including medications and lifestyle changes. Educate patients on heart health, prevention, and treatment adherence. Collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams. Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
