Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU (Travel)

Location

Lufkin, Texas

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3x12-hour shifts | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting with a 27-bed unit
• Maintain patient ratios of 2:1 to 3–4:1 depending on unit needs
• Utilize the MEDHOST electronic medical records (EMR) system for documentation and patient management
• Float to Stepdown unit as needed
• Participate in on-call rotation as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience
• Proficiency with MEDHOST EMR
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU or critical care environment
• Experience floating to Stepdown or similar progressive care units
