CDL-A Local & Regional Company Driver – Kansas City, MO

$30/Hour Local | $0.53 CPM Regional | $300 Daily Minimum on Out-and-Back Regional Runs

Cayman Express is hiring experienced CDL-A Company Drivers in Kansas City, Missouri for a combination of local and regional work.

This opportunity gives drivers the ability to handle local city/cartage-zone deliveries and regional runs , with a generally Monday–Friday workweek and competitive pay based on the type of freight you're running. Drivers must have at least 2 years of CDL-A experience .

Pay & Compensation

Cayman Express offers different pay structures for local and regional work:

• Local City/Cartage Deliveries: $30 per hour
• Regional Runs: $0.53 per mile
• Out-and-Back Regional Runs: $300 daily minimum
• Overtime: Time-and-a-half after 60 hours in a workweek

The current pay schedule is effective June 1, 2026.

Schedule & Home Time

Drivers generally work 45–55 hours per week, Monday through Friday .

Typical start times are between 6:00–8:00 a.m. , although schedules can vary based on customer appointments. Occasional Saturday work may be required as needed, and drivers should be prepared for occasional overnight trips .

Health & Retirement Benefits

Cayman Express currently pays 100% of the employee health-plan premium on the company-sponsored high-deductible health plan.

Drivers may also participate in the company's 401(k) and profit-sharing program after applicable plan and government eligibility requirements are met. Health plans and rates renew annually and may change after 2026.

Driver Requirements

To qualify for this opportunity, drivers must have:

• Valid Class A CDL
• 2+ years of CDL-A driving experience
• Ability to handle local city/cartage-zone deliveries and regional runs
• Flexibility for occasional Saturdays and overnight trips when required

Additional Driver Incentives

Cayman Express also notes that safety incentives and customer referral programs are coming soon .

The company currently offers a driver referral program paying up to $500 per qualified driver , with $250 paid at 60 days and another $250 at 120 days, subject to program requirements. There is no referral limit.
