Hospital at Home Registered Nurse (RN) Job Gurnee, IL Serving Lake Forest, Highland Park, and Libertyville BrightStar Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Hospital at Home team. If you have a background in Acute Care, Emergency Room (ER), IV Therapy, and/or Wound Care , we want to hear from you. This role provides high-quality nursing care to patients in the comfort of their homes, helping them safely recover while avoiding or reducing hospital stays. Flexible Scheduling Days, evenings, weekends, holidays, part-time, and PRN opportunities available. Responsibilities Provide skilled nursing care to Hospital at Home patients Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring Start and maintain IVs and administer prescribed therapies Perform wound care and dressing changes Recognize and communicate changes in patient condition Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery goals Maintain accurate clinical documentation Ensure compliance with all HIPAA, regulatory, and quality standards Qualifications Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required Experience in Acute Care, ER, IV Therapy, and/or Wound Care Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and communication skills Drivers License, reliable transportation and auto insurance Ability to pass background screening Preferred Home Health or Hospital at Home experience Peripheral IV insertion and maintenance Infusion therapy experience Wound Care certification or advanced wound care experience BSN preferred Why BrightStar Care?
