Must-Have: Candidates must have med/surg/post-op experience. Candidates must have Meditech experience.

Description: This position involves rapid response nursing duties. The unit comprises 24 beds. The staff includes 1 charge nurse, 5 nurses, and 1-2 techs on the night shift. Patient ratios are 5:1. Typical hiring profile includes travel RNs, local CNAs, and sitters. Preferred candidates will have GYN/Oncology or Urology experience. Typical procedures performed include post-op assessments and care. Responsible for post prostatectomy care and post hysterectomy care. Pain management including PCA and epidurals will be necessary. Foley catheter maintenance is also part of the role. Ideal candidates are team-oriented and compassionate. Flexibility and the ability to cope in a fast-paced environment are essential. No special scheduling or requests for time off will be accommodated after acceptance.
