Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the CVICU, specifically in direct open-heart recovery, as well as proficiency in advanced cardiac support techniques.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver direct patient care to critically ill cardiovascular patients.Manage open-heart recovery and monitor patients using advanced cardiac support devices, such as Impella and balloon pumps.Adhere to unit guidelines during weekends and holidays, with flexibility to float to other departments as needed.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and families.QualificationsMinimum of 24 months of recent CVICU experience within the last 12 months.Valid life support certifications from an accredited provider (AHA, ARC, or ASHI).No violations on state license to practice.Active nursing license verified within the last 30 days.Active ACLS and BLS certifications from approved vendors.Strong preference for candidates with travel experience.Additional InformationCandidates must have the ability to start on the designated start date or no more than one week later. Please specify all the facilities, shifts, and departments you are open to working in.
