River City Tree Service is in search of a reliable, self-motivated Groundsman to welcome to our crew. We have been servicing the greater St. Louis area for more than a decade. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain industry knowledge and experience.

Job Responsibilities

Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
Ability to identify and prevent on-site hazards by ensuring work areas are clearly marked with cones, signs, etc.
Gather and carry brush to the truck/chipper

Load and unload logs, brush, debris, etc. with or without the use of machinery
Ability to work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, snow, rain, etc.)
Willing to work on weekends, if needed, for storm damage and other emergency
Ability to operate and maintain necessary tools and equipment
Help enforce safety practices for all crew members

Report punctually each day prepared to work

Ability to think critically and use discretion to ensure jobs get completed in a safe and efficient manner
Learn to properly identify trees and bushes
Ability to perform other tasks as required or assigned
Qualifications

Valid driver’s license
CDL is not required but must be willing to obtain

Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds on a frequent basis
