Drug Production, Associate Manufacturing Specialist (Overnights)

Job Overview Regeneron is currently looking for a Biotech Production Specialist to join our Global Manufacturing team. The role focuses on manufacturing life‑changing medicines for patients worldwide while working in a clean‑room environment during the 3rd shift (10pm–8:30am) with potential weekend work. Location: Rensselaer, New York, United States. Key Responsibilities Cover all facets of drug production in a clean room, including cell culture and purification of monoclonal antibodies. Complete and review batch records and logbooks in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Perform in‑process sampling and analysis of buffer solutions, cell culture, and drug substance. Operate automated equipment such as bioreactors, chromatography columns, and filtration skids. Support equipment start‑up, troubleshooting, and validation. Partner with R&D teams to implement new drug manufacturing processes and technologies. Work quickly in a fast‑paced setting, adjust priorities based on business needs. Maintain highly regulated compliance and continuously improve processes. Use computerized systems for daily task performance. Communicate effectively and give/receive constructive feedback. Operate within a clean‑room attire, removing jewelry, makeup, and nail adornments. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma with at least four (4) years of relevant work experience, OR an associate, bachelor, or arts degree in Life Sciences or related field. Experience in biopharmaceutical production, cGMP, and equipment operation. Organized, detail‑oriented, with accuracy and adherence to schedules. Ability to work independently and as part of small and large teams. Capacity to learn and use computational systems, troubleshoot, and validate processes. Strong communication and constructive feedback skills. Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50lb and perform required physical tasks throughout shift. Physical Requirements Must be able to perform physical requirements entire shift (up to 10h) in a clean‑room environment, including bending, climbing, crawling, kneeling, reaching, overhead work, sitting, squatting, walking, standing, driving, hand manipulation, and lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50lb.
