Assessment Lead, Behavioral Health

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2pm - 10pm How You'll Contribute Facilitates response to request for service, including the initial response, the assessment and referral process, the designation of appropriate level of care, admission into services and appropriate follow‑up activity Conducts initial evaluation, initiates the assessment, documents patient symptomology, functioning, needs and provides information to MD for LOC determination Demonstrates excellent customer‑service skills in assisting patients, physicians, visitors and coworkers in a prompt and courteous manner Possesses clear knowledge of Emergency Detention paperwork and processes and EMTALA Maintains all preadmission and admission paperwork with accuracy, completes all per‑certification with insurance companies Ensures appropriate staffing for the shift Minimizes use of overtime Assists in monitoring attendance Educates and coaches staff and acts as a point person for clinical decisions Reports all issues and incidents to the Director appropriately Ensures staff has completed all needed documentation, call logging, insurance calls, and additional tasks prior to the end of shift Why Join Us Comprehensive Benefits : Multiple levels of medical, dental and vision coverage, tailored benefit options for part‑time and PRN employees, and more. What We're Looking For Applicants should have an Associate's Degree in Nursing (required) or a Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling or equivalent required. Additional requirements include: Previous experience with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients. CPR and De‑escalation certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
