Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges.
• Handle cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment with precision and integrity.
• Provide product demonstrations to inform customers about features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities.
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure an attractive shopping environment.
• Assist with stocking shelves, inventory management, and ensuring products are readily available for customers.
• Deliver excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining phone etiquette when assisting via phone or online inquiries.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Strong communication skills in both verbal and written forms; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers.
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
• Experience in supervising or leading small teams is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Ability to perform merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves and organizing displays efficiently.
• Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail environments enhances your ability to excel in this role.
