Billing Manager

Interim Billing Manager Our client, a high?growth software company, is seeking an Interim Billing Manager to provide short?term coverage following a recent team departure. This position is fully remote, and the engagement is expected to last 2 months. Responsibilities: Own and execute end?to?end billing processes to ensure accurate and timely invoicing Partner with revenue and finance leadership to maintain continuity across billing and revenue workflows Review and validate invoices, contracts, and usage data for proper billing alignment Manage billing adjustments, credits, and reconciliations Support month?end close activities related to billing and revenue recognition Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries Collaborate cross?functionally with finance, revenue operations, and sales teams to ensure data integrity Maintain billing documentation and identify process improvement opportunities Ensure compliance with internal controls and applicable revenue recognition standards Requirements: 5+ years of experience in billing, revenue accounting, or order?to?cash functions Experience operating at a billing manager or senior individual contributor level Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles Ability to step into complex environments quickly with minimal oversight Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem?solving skills Excellent communication skills and comfort partnering cross?functionally Compensation: Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors, including but not limited to: The individuals skill sets, experience, and training; Licensure and certifications; Office location and other geographic considerations; Other business and organizational needs.
