Health Systems Regional Scientific Director
Madrigal Pharmaceuticals
Madrigal Pharmaceuticals seeks a regional scientific director to build relationships with healthcare decision makers and payers across the Midwest, providing expert information on its MASH treatment and supporting market access strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare decision makers in regional health systems and payer organizations
- Partner with market access teams to develop strategic account plans and execute medical activities
- Coordinate with regional medical science liaisons on clinical support needs and key accounts
- Support health economics research activities within assigned regional accounts
- Attend and prepare deliverables for scientific and medical meetings
Requirements
- Clinical or scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, MS, MPH, or equivalent)
- 5+ years experience in integrated delivery networks and payer organizations
- Thorough knowledge of managed care, pharmacoeconomics, and real-world evidence
- Understanding of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, and pharmaceutical industry regulations
- Strong presentation and peer-to-peer communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, virtual platforms, and medical affairs systems
- Ability to travel up to 30% including weekend meetings
