Job Title: Up Crew Worker Job Description Join our dynamic team as an Up Crew Worker, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and efficiency at our North Phoenix work site. Responsibilities Escort Service: Drive a company vehicle to the work site, ensuring a tanker truck follows safely. Monitor the chemical loading and unloading process, which can take from 2 to 5 hours. Janitorial Duties: Perform general cleaning tasks, such as taking out dry trash and replacing bin liners. No chemical handling is involved in this role. Chemical Movement: Use equipment like drum dollies and pallet jacks to move 55-gallon drums. Load a box truck and separate chemicals according to type, taking inventory and assisting loaders. Essential Skills Valid driver's license GED or High School Diploma Ability to follow instructions and processes diligently Additional Skills & Qualifications OSHA 40-hour Hazwoper Certification is a plus Experience in chemical handling, sweeping, and general labor Familiarity with pallet jacks Why Work Here? Work Environment The work site is located in North Phoenix. Employees work a rotating schedule with 12-hour shifts from 5:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The work involves both indoor and outdoor tasks in the Fab, including loading and unloading drums. All necessary personal protective equipment, such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves, and chemical aprons, will be provided. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of PHOENIX, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
