Part-Time Registered Nurse

Registered NurseSummit Spine and Joint Centers (SSJC) is on track to become the largest comprehensive spine and joint care provider in the state of Georgia while providing clinical, surgical, and imaging services to our patients. We are seeking a part-time, self-motivated Registered Nurse for our Newnan clinic who loves to transform lives through exceptional patient care!Responsibilities:Effectively manages the care of assigned patients using knowledge, skills, judgment, and decision-making skills for the specific area and patient population.Delivers patient care utilizing standardized evidenced based guidelines of care and appropriate resources, including personnel, services, supplies and equipment.Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior, administer medications and document all encounters and progress notes.Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient careEducates patients about health maintenance and disease preventionEducates care plans, provides emotional support and advise to patients and their family membersQualifications:Good standing RN License for the state of Georgia without limitationsBLS and ALS/ACLS CertifiedFamiliarity with medical software and equipmentAbility to build rapport with patientsStrong problem solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment
