Discover Palmdale.This position is in Palmdale, CA Discover Palmdale.Basic Qualifications:- Bachelors degree- Experience working in a manufacturing environment working cross functionally with other disciplines including quality assurance, production operations, design engineering, industrial engineer, project engineer, manufacturing engineering, and/or process engineering- Experience supporting air vehicle assembly and part assembly including some combination of the following: composites fabrication, metallics fabrication, structural assembly, systems installation, test operations- Experience in integrated corrective action, cause map development, RCCA- Active secret security clearance with an investigation in the last 5 years or enrollment in CE- Ability to obtain special program access within 3 months of startDesired Skills:- STEM degree preferred with 5+ years of experience- Black belt certification- PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification- Working knowledge of air vehicle final assembly and flight line operations.- Experience with audit teams or performing process audits- Experience with facilitating kaizen events and tiger team efforts- Demonstrated ability to drive issues to closure and develop preventative action plan to limit failures in the future.- Demonstrated understanding of engineering blueprints, model based engineering, process specifications. and manufacturing planning.- Self-starter with ability to operate with limited direction. - Experience working in 3D modelling software (CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks, Nx), Product Lifecycle Manager (PLM) programs (e.g. 3DX, Teamcenter, PDM, etc.), and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) programs (iBASEt, SAP, etc.).Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 yearsOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match.
