Senior Director, ICX Data, Analytics & AI

Vertex Pharmaceuticals seeks a Senior Director to lead data, analytics, and AI strategy for its integrated customer experience platform. The role oversees the intelligence layer supporting precision engagement, AI agents, and decisioning capabilities while partnering across commercial, technology, and compliance functions.
Responsibilities
- Set and execute data, analytics, AI, and agentic strategy aligned to commercial priorities and enterprise technology direction
- Lead the end-to-end intelligence layer including data products, analytics, predictive models, and AI agent portfolio
- Own enterprise measurement and closed-loop analytics connecting engagement signals to business results
- Build and lead team of approximately 9 direct reports spanning data strategy, analytics, data science, and measurement
- Partner with Legal, Medical, Regulatory, and Compliance to ensure AI solutions are compliant and defensible
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in data science, analytics, computer science, or related field preferred
- Significant leadership experience in data, analytics, AI/ML, decision science, or digital strategy
- Demonstrated ability to translate data and AI capabilities into measurable commercial outcomes
- Experience developing data products, predictive models, decisioning systems, and AI solutions
- Strong understanding of data governance, responsible AI, model risk, privacy, and compliance
- Proven success leading multidisciplinary teams and managing strategic technology vendors
- Experience in biopharma, healthcare, or highly regulated industry strongly preferred
Compensation: $228,000 - $342,000 base
