Data Steward

We are looking for two Data Stewards to join our clients growing team in Las Vegas. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in data governance, data quality, business analysis, and reporting who enjoy partnering with business stakeholders to improve data integrity and drive informed decision-making. This position begins onsite and transitions to a hybrid schedule after onboarding.

• Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $80-90K

What You'll Do:

• Develop and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, standards, definitions, and lifecycle management processes across the organization.
• Perform data profiling, auditing, quality monitoring, and remediation activities to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements while translating business needs into technical specifications, business rules, and source-to-target mappings.
• Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide actionable insights and support business decision-making.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to align data initiatives with organizational objectives and improve business processes.

What Gets You the Job:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in data stewardship, data governance, data management, or a related data-focused role.
• Strong experience with data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, or Excel.
• Experience creating business requirements, business rules, source-to-target mappings, and supporting data integration initiatives.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership in an Agile environment.
